At Streamline Scott was the chief operating officer of an organization of state governments working to make their individual sales tax systems simpler and more uniform. Prior to Streamline Scott was the Director of Sales Tax for the South Dakota Department of Revenue. In that position Scott was responsible for the day-to-day management of the state’s sales tax, the sales tax for 205 cities and 4 tribal governments, and directed the administration’s sales tax policy.
