Course Description

Sales and use tax compliance is almost impossible to manage well manually. Determining which items are taxable, in which states is increasingly a challenge, especially since many items are “sometime taxable”, and relying on zip codes can get you in trouble when the auditor comes knocking.

Maintaining rate tables inside any accounting software is not easy, with constant updates and changes, it's impossible to be 100% accurate all of the time. This webinar reveals how franchisees can benefit from sales tax automation, including how it can be used to eliminate the time-consuming and error-laden process of manually preparing and remitting sales tax returns. This webinar is recommended for franchisees who use a small business accounting software to manage their business.
