Jim Boomer is a shareholder and the CIO for Boomer Consulting, Inc. He is the director of the Boomer Technology Circles, The Producer Circle, The CIO Advantage and an expert on managing technology within an accounting firm. He also serves as a strategic planning and technology consultant and firm adviser to CPA firms across the country.

Joel has more than 15 years of experience in software sales and business turnarounds in both the US and UK markets, with a focus on building high-performance sales and client service culture. Prior to joining Validis, Joel built Experian and its US Data Quality business - from the first man on the ground to a high margin $50M within 9 years. In addition, Joel led the database marketing services and revived its growth after 6 years of decline. On returning to the UK, Joel led a client-centric agenda which positioned Experian UK Data Quality operation as the top global performer. His achievement reflected on the Satmetrix Net Promoter Scoring system (NPS). Joel holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Birmingham and an MBA from Cass Business School. He currently resides in Austin Texas with his wife and two children.
