Ross Riskin is the Founder of the American Institute of Certified College Financial Consultants (AICCFC). As the Founder of the AICCFC, Ross has brought together his professional experiences and his experiences in academia to form an organization whose mission is to offer educational training in the areas of college and student loan advising to CPA Financial Planners. The AICCFC is the issuer of the premier certification in college and student loan advising, the Certified College Financial Consultant (CCFC) designation. CPAs, CFPs, PFS, and Enrolled Agents are able to obtain this designation after completing education, examination, and service requirements. 

Ross is proud to be the Program Director for the only CFP Board Registered undergraduate program in the state of Connecticut and has been instrumental in creating the Personal Financial Planning Concentration within the Master of Science in Accounting program, which features the AICPA’s Essentials in Personal Financial Planning course. Ross is also the Founder and Managing Member of Riskin Advisory, LLC (college planning practice) and is the Vice President of Riskin & Riskin, PC (public accounting practice).

About Us: The American Institute of Certified College Financial Consultants (AICCFC) is an organization that was created to offer educational training to CPAs and Financial Planners who wish to learn how they can advise their clients effectively in the areas of college and student loan advising. The AICCFC is the issuer of the premiere designation in college and student loan advising, the Certified College Financial Consultant (CCFC) designation. CCFC credential holders must hold either the CPA, PFS, CFP, and/or the EA designation. In order to obtain the CCFC designation, members must also fulfill education, examination, and service requirements.
