Amy is a full-time accounting instructor and faculty adviser for Great Alaskan Accounting People (GAAP), a student accounting organization, and for the IRS VITA program. Amy worked for almost tens years in public accounting and continues her involvement by providing contract services, including tax research and preparation for CPA firms. Amy also has served as the president of the Alaska Society of CPAs, and is currently a member of the AICPA Young Member Leadership Committee and the AICPA Nominations Committee.

About Us: The University of Alaska Fairbanks (also referred to as UAF or Alaska) is a public research university in Fairbanks, Alaska, United States. It is a flagship campus of the University of Alaska System. UAF is a land-grant, sea-grant, and space-grant institution, and it also participates in the sun-grant program through Oregon State University.
