Course Description

Hector Garcia is a CPA and data conversion/importing into QuickBooks expert; and he will show you all of the techniques he uses to reduce the amount of data entry he does for his bookkeeping / write-up clients when the transaction data is available in Excel or CSV. Hector focuses on in built-in tools available within QuickBooks Accountant 2013 and above, but also discusses why/when to use a 3rd party Importing tool such as Zed Axis to import additional types of transactions and/or more details not available with built-in tools.

Learning Objectives

  • Learn the different options for importing data into QuickBooks from sources such as Excel spreadsheets or CSV Files

  • Understand how to use the built-in tools within QuickBooks Accountant and QuickBooks Enterprise 2013 through 2016 for importing transactions
