Course Description

Entrepreneurs often have great ideas but little experience with the tax and business issues involved in starting a new venture. Accountants and attorneys often serve as a guide for entrepreneurs and their startups. This presentation will provide you with a fundamental understanding of the tax and business issues facing startups. Topics will include, choosing the business form, financing a new business, dealing with common tax issues, hiring and compensating employees, and certain unique ethical issues for advisors representing startups and entrepreneurs.
