A forensic accountant can be useful in many different types of litigations including contract disputes, shareholder disputes, personal injury, white-collar crime, embezzlement, divorce, bankruptcy, fiduciary litigation, and more. Forensic accountants draw upon a wide range of skills to act as consultants and expert witnesses to attorneys. This course will teach accountants about the world of litigation support, forensic accounting, and business valuation services. The course will also provide a brief overview of the services forensic accountants can offer, the rules governing their testimony, and the skills that a good forensic accountant needs to succeed.
