Ironoak

Lisa is a Partner and Client Advisor with IronOak Wealth, serving clients all over the country with offices in Austin, TX. Her fascination with getting to know people, a penchant for planning and love of solving puzzles led her to become a Trust and Estate Attorney (currently non-practicing) over 25 years ago. Lisa has never stopped working on what she believes to be the most important skill – listening. As a result, she spends time learning about each clients’ passions, fears, dreams and principles to help ensure they are reflected in their financial pursuits. By looking at all of the pieces together she is able to uncover opportunities to make the lives of each client easier and their legacies stronger while building a team of specialists around them. Her consistent process starts with a plan that acts as a north star serving as an ongoing blueprint for investing, saving, lending, fiduciary services, legacy planning and charitable giving.

Before joining IronOak, Lisa advised clients on their estate and financial planning. She moved into executive leadership, spending over 9 years helping to manage the suite of wealth management offerings and teams at one of the World's largest banks. She then shifted her focus to her true passion, client service. Lisa has had multiple articles published in academic and trade journals, been interviewed for a range of diverse media channels, and conducted seminars on various topics.

Lisa serves on several boards including that of her synagogue, Congregation Agudas Achim, MATI USA, and Global (real estate) Consulting Organization. She also serves on the Patient Advisory Council for St. David’s Hospital System and is active with Leadership Austin and CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women). While in New York, Lisa was involved with her local hospital, synagogue, and school district, establishing the Working Parents Committee for her local PTSA. She has also led Diversity and Inclusion councils throughout her career and established a group that supported women in achieving their financial goals, honoring their contributions to their communities, and providing them with planning resources. She is passionate about serving others while giving them tools to control their own destiny.

Lisa graduated from Seton Hall University School of Law in 1997 and obtained her Master of Laws (LLM) in Taxation from Villanova University School of Law in 2002. She was raised in New York City and moved from Westchester County, NY to Austin, TX in 2016 with her husband and two daughters. As avid cross-fitters, Lisa and her husband have instilled in their children the importance of physical fitness, resilience, and community; teaching them from an early age that whether you believe you can or you believe you can’t, you are right.
