Course Description

This course is designed to level-set what college financial aid is and what it is not. The webinar experts will discuss the factors that influence qualifying for financial assistance, the three different financial aid methodologies, and the pending changes to federal financial aid currently set to go into effect in January 2022.

This webinar will also dig into 529 college savings plans and discuss the different types of 529 owners and how those ownership types can dramatically impact financial aid results. Finally, the presenters will outline a brief case study demonstrating an ownership change of a 529 account and the actual monetary implications for financial aid.
