Bill is an IT Audit Manager in the Brown Smith Wallace Advisory Services practice, where he is responsible for providing internal and IT audit and IT consulting services to the firm’s clients. With a background in both operational and IT engagements, Bill provides a variety of services within the practice. He has completed numerous financial and operational audits and data analysis projects. He has experience conducting IT audits to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley; providing ongoing PCI consulting for clients; using Galvanize (formerly ACL) to complete audits for a variety of industries; and building expertise in several different IT audit disciplines.

Robert Hof is a Consulting Manager in the Advisory Services practice where he is responsible for providing cybersecurity and IT audit services to the firm’s clients. Robert started his career at Brown Smith Wallace in 2007 as a college intern and returned to the firm in 2019. He has eight years of public accounting and internal audit experience, as well as four years of system engineering/architecture experience. Robert’s experience includes three years leading the cybersecurity team within Charter Communications’ Internal Audit department. Prior to Charter, he spent two years leading the security architecture of Enterprise Holding’s Office 365 and Azure cloud adoption as well as three years in the PwC Risk Assurance practice auditing controls in support of SOC and financial reporting.
