Microsoft OneNote 2016 is a software program available within the Microsoft Office desktop suite or Microsoft Office 365 (online). The program enables users to utilize stylus-enabled devices such as a Microsoft Surface to write notes. These materials can then be distributed to colleagues or clients in multiple ways.
Microsoft OneNote enables CPAs to organize multiple notebooks, sections, and pages. OneNote materials can include audio and video recordings, external videos, website links, pictures, text (hand-written or typed), file attachments, embedded Excel spreadsheets, and more! OneNote materials are available on multiple devices (automatically syncing between devices).

Cassie Weitzenkamp has a Master of Professional Accountancy (MPA) and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (major in Accounting, minor in Psychology). Her professional background is in public accounting with an emphasis in income tax preparation, but she also assisted in the preparation of financial statements, sales tax reports, bookkeeping, payroll reports, QuickBooks consulting, etc. Cassie Weitzenkamp is an instructor of several accounting courses at Peru State College including the following topics: federal income taxes for individuals, corporations, partnerships, & fiduciaries, cost/managerial accounting, Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks Accountant Desktop, etc. In addition to teaching, she is also a licensed CPA in the state of Nebraska, QuickBooks Online 2018 ProAdvisor, and serves on the Educational Advisory Committee to the Nebraska State Board of Public Accountancy.
