Most reasonable compensation education focuses on S corporations; however, since the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, C corporations have become a more common tax reduction option.

This session describes the C corporation's reasonable compensation issue, what the law says, and how the taxpayer can stay in compliance while saving tax. 

Learning Objectives: 


  • Identify the reasonable compensation issue for C corporation shareholders

  • Describe the tax effects of paying less than or more than the reasonable compensation amount
