Setting goals is a key part of the financial and tax planning process. As a CPA you are perfectly positioned to help your clients navigate this journey. You will receive for free as well as learn how to use the Personal Finance Scorecard, and start conversations with your clients and prospects about their financial goals and needs. This tool will help you transition your current tax clients into financial planning clients, while expanding your service offering.  

In Part II of Building a Tax and Financial Planning Advisory Business, Susan Tillery, CPA/PFS will show you:


  • How your tax-focused relationship with individual, family and business owner clients can help you identify personal financial planning opportunities in estate, retirement, risk management/insurance, and investment planning.

  • Actionable strategies using resources developed by leading CPA financial planners to identify and act on planning opportunities.


You will also be introduced to the different roles the CPA can play with their planning clients and look at best practices for setting fees and the professional responsibilities for financial planning.
