Doug Sleeter (@dougsleeter) is a passionate leader of innovation and change in the small business accounting technology world. As a CPA firm veteran and former Apple Computer Evangelist, he has melded his two great passions (accounting and technology) to guide developers in the innovation of new products and to educate and lead accounting professionals who serve small businesses. The CPA Practice Advisor has recognized Doug as one of the "Top 25 Thought Leaders" in the accounting profession for the past several years and he has been named to Accounting Today's "Top 100 Most Influential People in Accounting" each year 2008 through 2013. He was recently awarded the 2013 Small Business Influence Champion award. Doug is the publisher of the QuickBooks and Beyond blog, the author of numerous books, and writes a regular column in The CPA Practice Advisor. Doug and his family live in Pleasanton, CA.

René spent five years at Intuit, creating and managing the company's bill presentment team and growing its bill payment and credit card businesses 30% in one year. He also launched Intuit's first connected payroll product, growing the team from two employees to 300 in 18 months. René received a Masters of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Quantitative Economics from Stanford University. In his spare time Rene likes to throw his two boys in the air, play ultimate Frisbee, run, bike and bake. What excites Rene most about Bill.com is the idea of replacing the static Excel spreadsheet allowing businesses to streamline the way they make decisions and take action.
