As Director of Development for Junior Achievement USA, Melanie is responsible for fostering new and ongoing national partnerships with corporations and foundations that lead to optimized community impact. She joined Junior Achievement USA in 2008 as Manager of Stewardship in which she managed an $8M grant portfolio engaging over 10,000 volunteers and impacting more than 200,000 JA youth around the globe. Leading up to her current role, Melanie’s career includes over 20 years in marketing and customer service. Melanie earned her Bachelor of Science from Colorado State University and Master of Business Administration from the University of Colorado. As a mother of three boys, Melanie has a personal passion for Junior Achievement’s focus to empower young people to succeed.

About Us: JA's volunteer-delivered, kindergarten-12th grade programs foster work-readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy skills, and use experiential learning to inspire students to dream big and reach their potential.
