Course Description

Some businesses make it, and others are a learning experience. If you have clients who need to close a business it’s best to advise them to close before the new year to avoid ongoing fees. In this webinar, CorpNet.com CEO Nellie Akalp will outline options to officially close a business in a home state and foreign states so there are no repercussions down the road.

Learning Objectives:

  • Recognize the importance of closing a business before year-end along with options to shutter

  • Identify the steps necessary to close a business in the home state vs a foreign state

  • Determine how a business entity type can affect closure steps

  • Evaluate options to close a business but keep intact years in business status
