Course Description

In this session, EY National Tax Partner Tony Nitti will highlight recent developments impacting S corporations and their shareholders.
 
Learning Objectives:


  • Determine the significance of Revenue Procedure 2022-19 and its impact on S corporation qualification

  • Identify the traps for the unwary that may result in a second class of stock

  • Recognize the due date for a target’s tax return in a Section 336(e) transaction and the impact a missed return has on the election
