Course Description

This 2-part course is designed to help CPAs, accountants, and bookkeeping and tax professionals talk to their clients about the fundamentals of cash flow management and building finance-ready financial statements. Many business owners have never been taught these accounting concepts, yet they are expected to be “loan-ready” for their banker/lender. Join this session for Part 1 to learn how to have these important conversations with your clients, thereby strengthening your client relationships.

Learning Objectives:

  • Define the basics of cash flow management and recognize that cash flow is NOT net profit

  • Identify how to review financial statement data and key areas that finance partners will look at

  • Determine how to help your clients prepare finance-ready financial statements
