Course Description

Training incentives are typically funded through unemployment taxes and offered to businesses by state and local authorities. They are incentives in the form of grants, contracts or tax credits to help offset the cost of training. They generally are awarded before training occurs and received by a business after completion These grants aim to increase trainee wages, job retention, skill sets and/or industry growth.

As Director of Incentives Services, I specialize in the negotiation and securing of state and federal tax credit incentives and grants as well as subsequent compliance requirements and processes after negotiation. My role consists of management of the incentives analysts staff, coordination with Business Development for current and prospective clients, Analysis, Presentation and Direction from the opportunity review stage through negotiation and securitization processes through to incentive compliance with high utilization as a required goal.
