Course Description

In order to fully understand a topic, you must know its past, present, and future, and that's the same for R&D tax credits. Join this session where our presenters will review the history of this tax credit as it relates to businesses of all sizes. The presenters will also discuss important news and updates on tax law in relation to the credit. The presenters will share strategies for optimizing the credit, especially concerning the Employee Retention Tax Credit, and will discuss critical items to include in an R&D study to defend a claim confidently.

Monika has extensive business tax experience and worked in internal audit earlier in her career reviewing business processes. Monika has a BS in Accounting from Ohio State University and lives in Bexley, Ohio with her family.
