Course Description

Reconciliation is a common task performed by Excel users, and there are many ways to accomplish this task. All ways, however, are not equal: some ways are faster and more efficient than others. When first learning Excel, people often do things manually—wasting valuable time. Yet, power users know there are tips and tricks to reclaim that time.

Join this webinar with Microsoft Certified Trainer Jeff Lenning, CPA, and accelerate your Excel journey. In this session, Jeff will teach you how conditional formatting, lookup functions, and Power Query will help you complete your reconciliations in a fraction of the time.

Learning Objectives:

  • Identify how to use conditional formatting to increase efficiency in reconciliation

  • Determine how lookup functions can be used for longer lists, on separate sheets, when reconciling in Excel

  • Recall how Power Query will make reconciliation faster when doing repetitive tasks
