Accounting professionals deal with a particular and unique set of circumstances. While many industries have high and low seasons or are proposal or project driven, IRS-mandated tax deadlines create unusually pressured times for CPAs. Also, accounting professionals, introverted by nature, are often drawn to the industry because of its emphasis on numbers versus people. Yet, once in the field, they discover the significant amount of people contact required both for working within their company and dealing with outside clients. Untrained in the softer, interpersonal skills aspect of their work, CPAs can easily become challenged trying to deal with diverse personalities within their organizations and inevitable challenges with clients.
This webinar will work with the internal and external challenges of the profession, and offer strategies for approaching these and other work-related aspects.
